Not for me, but probably fine for some.

I bought this washing machine for the extra large tub to be able to wash my big items like comforters at home. I am so disappointed in this large price purchase. As far as set up, it was easy. However, for our lifestyle, this machine just doesn't work, I tried to get used to it and like it, but I cant. I am using more water because it takes 2-3 washes to get my clothes clean and not smelling bad even though they went in fine. Being an HE machine, it doesn't fill up like my previous tub machine does and it mostly just spins the damp items around, even with the high deep fill and second rinse options selected. They come out smelling odd, like they've only been dampened and not cleaned. I'm going to have to sell this machine and move my old 80s/90s hand me down washing machine back in while I research further what machine is going to be best for my household. I really wanted the model above this one that had the soak feature, etc but when I saw an option that didn't have all the fancy "Smart" features I wanted it instead to be more like my old knob style machine, I didn't realize that all of the extra features were also removed on this machine as the photos don't show the control panel well. I just want a machine that doesn't need to be connected to wifi and cleans right, I'm only 28 and fear it's going to be getting far worse in my lifetime. You should be able to conserve water and do the job properly, this machine doesn't achieve that for me.

Easy to install, easy to use, good looking

It can wash with a clicking sound

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It does okay doesn’t make white really white like my old one did (different brand). Also makes a weird noise when it starts a wash cycle which I’m not a huge fan of but asides from that it washes.

Replaced an LG that was starting to rust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noisy, motor has a high pitched whine when washing. Great that it has an agitator and a plastic cup and surround for bleach. Wish it had a soak function during wash, an alarm to let me know when it is finished, and a display for time remaining.

OK, but!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine does what is suppose to do. However, the TOTAL lack of information that is provided with the machine is beyond belief!!! Going on line to try to find the information is like looking for a needle in a hay stack!!. Even chatting with a representative is like walking through a mind field. Calling the phone numbers provided for product assistance is TOTALLY useless. All you get is computer messaging transferring you to no one answering the call. This is our second Whirlpool machine, the first lasted 14 years without a problem. Based on my first week of ownership, I doubt this machine will last beyond the warranty. By the way there was NO warranty information provided with the machine!!!

Replacement for 20+ year old
